D-ON is published under the developer name Adrian M Studio and is operated by Adrian Mihail. Contact: contact.driveron@gmail.com. D-ON is designed as a privacy-focused driver-assistance application. Most offer analysis takes place locally on your device.
With permissions granted by you, D-ON can analyse relevant information visible in supported driver applications, including offered fare, pickup and trip distance/time, addresses, areas or postcodes, and other text needed to recognise an offer. D-ON also processes technical information needed to run the application, such as application state, device model, Android version and diagnostic events.
This information is used to provide driver-assistance features such as money per mile, money per hour, LOW / MEDIUM / HIGH classification, area notices, Last 10 Offers, Home and Target Navigation. D-ON does not automatically accept or reject offers and does not control the supported driver application.
When D-ON is active and you grant Android screen-capture permission, relevant screen pixels from supported driver applications can be processed for OCR. D-ON uses Google ML Kit text recognition as part of this on-device recognition process. OCR can occasionally misread, miss or temporarily retain text needed for recognition and diagnostics.
The current application does not include Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics or advertising SDKs, and D-ON does not use offer information for behavioural advertising.
If you enable Home or Target Navigation, D-ON may access device location and the target address or postcode you provide. Location is used to compare an offered destination with your selected Home or target. D-ON does not use location for behavioural advertising.
For UK postcode targets, D-ON may use Postcodes.io to resolve a postcode to approximate coordinates. For an address or place, D-ON may use the Android system Geocoder. Those network services may receive the query and ordinary connection information such as your IP address under their own terms and privacy practices.
Favorite Areas, Warning Areas, Avoid Areas, Home and custom targets, driver settings and Last 10 Offers are stored in D-ON application data. Last 10 Offers keeps up to ten recent recognised offer records and replaces the oldest when the limit is exceeded. D-ON also creates local diagnostic logs and can keep local Bug Report artifacts for troubleshooting.
SHOT saves a screenshot only when you request it and where Android permits screen capture. Screenshots are not taken automatically for Bug Report. Depending on your Android and Google backup or device-transfer settings, Android may copy some D-ON application data as part of system backup or device transfer.
Bug Report is user-initiated. A Quick Bug Report sends diagnostic information without screenshots. A Full Bug Report sends diagnostic information and may also include the description you enter plus up to three existing screenshots that you explicitly select. D-ON never adds screenshots to a Bug Report automatically.
A Bug Report can contain recent offer history, technical events, device and application information, area or postcode information, recent diagnostic log data and raw OCR evidence captured for troubleshooting. Raw OCR or selected screenshots may contain information visible in the driver application, including addresses or other information shown on screen. Review what you choose to send, especially screenshots.
When you choose to send a Bug Report to D-ON support, the report and any selected attachments are transmitted over the internet to the D-ON support server and stored with a Case ID for troubleshooting. Hosting and network providers used to operate that server may process ordinary technical connection data such as IP addresses and request logs.
Where UK data-protection law applies, processing needed to provide the D-ON features you request is carried out to provide the service to you. Diagnostic and Bug Report information that you choose to send is processed for the legitimate interests of operating, securing, supporting and improving D-ON. Where a separate consent is required by law, D-ON will request it.
D-ON's LOW / MEDIUM / HIGH classification is automated decision-support based on recognised offer information and your configured rules. It does not make an acceptance or rejection decision for you and is not intended to make a decision with legal or similarly significant effects on your behalf.
D-ON does not sell driver data. D-ON does not routinely share ride-offer information with Uber, Bolt, Free Now or another driver platform as part of offer analysis. Information is sent to the D-ON support server only when you initiate a Bug Report, and screenshots are included only when you select them.
D-ON may rely on Postcodes.io, Android system Geocoder services, Google ML Kit and Google Play. Google Play may process account, purchase and subscription information under Google's own terms and privacy policies; D-ON does not receive your complete payment-card details. Third-party providers may process information in countries outside the UK under their own legal safeguards and privacy terms.
Local settings generally remain until you change or reset them, clear application data or uninstall D-ON. Last 10 Offers keeps up to ten records. Manual screenshots remain until you delete them. D-ON keeps a limited number of local Bug Report folders and prunes older local reports as newer reports are created. Diagnostic logs are cleared or overwritten according to D-ON's local retention mechanisms or when application data is cleared.
Bug Reports submitted to the D-ON support server are kept only for support, troubleshooting and security purposes and are deleted when they are no longer reasonably needed, subject to any legal or security requirement. You may contact us about a submitted report using its Case ID.
Depending on applicable law, you may have data-protection rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Because much of D-ON's information remains on your device, we may not possess a server-side copy of local-only information. Where UK data-protection law applies, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
This Privacy Policy may be updated when D-ON features, third-party services, support infrastructure, business arrangements or applicable law change. The latest version will show an updated revision date.
